Are you ready for change?

Are you ready to optimise how you look, feel and perform?

Or perhaps your doctor has told you that you need to make diet and lifestyle changes?

Do you feel alone in all this, unsure where to start?

The Diet And Lifestyle Project is an online community which provides knowledge, tools and accountability to those looking to improve their baseline level of health. Hosted in the Circle platform, subscribers can access the community via their web browser, or the Circle iOS/Android app (links and further instructions are provided below).

Who am I?

I am Jack Ruston.

I’m a qualified and insured Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP), graduate of the Nutritional Therapy Association (NTA), member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) in the U.S., and The Federation of Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (FNTP) in the U.K. I guide clients through the changes that will support their metabolic health as well as working to support their clinicians in tackling issues with digestion, blood sugar regulation, autoimmunity and more.

The following things have been said about me (almost all of them true):

A community of people just like you

About

What should you expect from The Diet & Lifestyle Project platform and what does it  look like?

Our General Discussion Forum is the heart of the community. It’s where you can connect with other members, ask questions, share your wins and get support when you are struggling. We’ll post daily meal pictures, news and our ‘Bite-Sized’ tips.

It’s also where we’ll keep you in the know on the latest in health and nutrition, summarising and demystifying the research, and recommending podcasts and articles for anyone who wants to go deeper.

Do you want to know what to eat for breakfast that will stop you reaching for the biscuit tin a few hours later?

Or why you’re suddenly waking at 3 am every night and struggling to get the rest you need?

Maybe you travel a lot for work and want guidance on eating out without wrecking your hard earned progress?

See the Support Content as your bible – your ultimate guide. Clear and informative, it’s packed with information on a wide range of topics, such as how to construct a nutrient-dense diet, blood sugar and insulin resistance, balancing the different types of dietary fat, stress-management and sleep, as well as the strategies and pitfalls that make our changes effective in the real world.

If you’re someone who likes to know the ‘why’ as well as the ‘what to do’, the Support Content has you covered.

All are welcome to join Jack’s weekly video calls. These are a great way of getting to know your fellow members and building supportive social connections. You’ll be able to get advice directly from Jack, as well as benefitting from the experience of the community.

We all run out of culinary inspiration sometimes, and making changes to how we eat – stepping out of the comfort zone of the familiar recipes that we’ve relied upon in the past – can be daunting.

We provide delicious, inventive and easy-to-follow recipes that will revolutionise your cooking.

Why not join in on a live cook, in which we attempt a recipe together, in real time? Or watch later – they’ll all be recorded.

The online world is convenient, but nothing beats the time we spend together in-person.

We have an exciting programme of events, held in the London/South East area: Our small group Foundation Days provide a solid grounding in our approach, setting you up for success. We’ll explain the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’, and demonstrate our nutritional ethos with an incredible lunch.

There are also cooking and home butchery workshops, outdoor get-togethers, and restaurant visits.

What if you have specific issues that need in-depth attention? You may have health concerns that you don’t want to share in a group setting, or which need further investigation.

Jack is a qualified and insured Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, a member of the FNTP in the U.K., and NANP in the U.S. He has helped clients with issues that include fat loss, digestion, energy levels and fatigue and symptoms of perimenopause.

All members of TDLP can access discounts on cycles of 1:1 work, which include calls over zoom, on the phone or in person, detailed written recommendations and referrals to any relevant clinicians. Ongoing 1:1 support is provided over 3 months on an initial cycle.

If you’re looking for 1:1 services, email Jack or visit www.jackruston.com
